Sample 2: Paul Cézanne's, Mont Sainte-Victoire piece

Firstly, Paul took a picture of Mount Sainte-Victoire, which is situated in southern France. This was the starting point of his piece.  


Paul divided his piece into three parts (starting from the bottom to the top) and below is the process of the piece through to the final painting.




















                                               



                                                       
I find Paul Cézanne's piece really interesting, because I like the idea of how he used oil pastels to manipulate a real life scenery; especially with the detail in the middle creating an illusion of the sun's beams appearing across the grassy fields.
